We love Kefalos. It is a quiet resort with beautiful tavernas, friendly people and a long beach front. We are going for our third time in September. I can guarantee that you wouldn't be disappointed if you prefer a relaxing holiday.

What time of year do you want to go and what kind of thing do you like? The weather is warmer on the south side, but Kos Town is on the north east coast of the island and if you like cultural stuff you'd probably want to base yourself nearby. North coast is windier I think.
