Croatia villa family holiday

Can anyone recommend a Croatia villa (or give me ideas where is good to stay)

We like a private villa with a pool and air conditioning. "Children" will be 18yr old daughter and 14yr old son so separate bedrooms for them.

We like the villa itself to be fairly quiet but a short hop in the car or walking distance to restaurants/shops.

We will organise our own flights as husband is a business traveller so we get air miles/loyalty scheme etc.

As a family we like to visit things like castles, archeology, pretty villages and harbours and attractions such as zoos/other animal things, maybe a water park. We don't have much family time due yo husbands travel so we do like a nice villa so that we can intersperse excursions with chilling together at the villa.

We've been to Cyprus for the last two years and absolutely adored it but we want somewhere different and also thinking Croatia might be slightly cooler. We cannot stand the "Brits abroad, football shirts and full English breakfast" type place.

If you can think of somewhere not Croatia that fits these parameters I'd also be interested.

Thank you xx

I recommend this place. I have stayed there. With similar age kids. Might fit the bill? Hosts are lovely. Place is air conditioned. Has a pool and is near the sea/ national park.

I'd recommend staying on one of the Islands off the coast.

Korcula was lovely and has an interesting old town, Brac is larger with more accommodation options and Hvar is very pretty. You can fly in or out of either Split or Dubrovnik and do some sightseeing there on arrival or when leaving, and get catamaran/ferries over to the islands. Loads of activities especially boating, swimming, kayaking and watersports. I found it greener than much of Greece and sea breezes make it a bit cooler in summer holidays. There are lots of accommodation sites with villa options.
