Jet2 fit to fly - chickenpox

Currently waiting on info on the jet2 WhatsApp service. However looking for anyone who has been in same situation.

Toddler has chickenpox, first spots Friday morning (23rd). We fly on 12th sept. Dr didn't seem concerned about need for fit to fly note when I asked given timescale between just said to check airline.

Jet2 seem to require one, fair enough. I'll get one from Doctor, after 7 days have passed I'm guessing? However who do I supply it to? At the airport? Prior via email? As I say waiting on an answer but wanted to see if anyone else had experience. TIA

Not sure you'd need one by the 12th September tbh. The CP should have scabbed over and be starting to clear up well before then

This is what i also thought but have contacted jet2 and the online customer services seem to say it's case but to call their assisted travel team as I did ask if it was necessary given they started on Friday and our toddler won't be contagious just most likely abit scabby from healing as you say. I'll ring tomorrow and see.
