Where is the cruise? Uk , med or Caribbean?

Most people wear casual in day and bit smarter at night- there is usually 1 formal night and possibly a party (frozen or pirate) night

Casual clothing for day time and perhaps something a little smarter at night.

Trainers for sightseeing, toiletries and a cross body bag or a bag to keep your personal items safe. Swimming clothes, sun cream, beach bag.

I don’t think Disney do formal nights so I don’t think you need formal clothing unless you want to. Even if there is a formal night you don’t need to attend and can just eat in the buffet.

Have a fantastic time.

Just take what you would take on a holiday to Spain. Swimwear, casual for daytime, couple of smarter outfits for evening (trousers or skirts, collared polos for men/ boys) and a formal outfit if you want to partake. There is usually one formal night.
Disney has a laundry room on most floors so if your kids are prone to wearing ketchup take stain remover and some pods for the washer.

Dinners can be as dressy as you like. Some in shorts and t shirts all the way to jackets and ties and cocktail dresses. I usually wear a nice summer dress and flat sandals in the evenings, but T shirts and shorts or leggings if we had a long day and just want to be comfy. We dress fancier for Palo and “piratey“ for pirate night.
It can get cold on the deck in the evenings. It can also get cold inside, especially in the theatres if they're not full, as they can blast the A/C quite high. So I always bring a hoodie or fleece; usually I travel in that so I don't have to pack it but always have it.
Lots of people, especially the children, wear Disney themed t shirts, caps, sweatshirts etc…
