Netherlands Landal Parks with older children

Hi there,

please recommend a Landal park, or similar, in the Netherlands . Children are 11 and 16, we all like walks and cycling, happy to swim but not looking for a CP style pool. I’ll be travelling by car and ferry.

Keen to visit Rotterdam and Gouda looks nice too so I was looking at De Reeuwijkse Plassen, but all the parks are keen to advertise their activities for younger children, should I opt for something else?

I have very fond memories of Landal De Lommerbergen near the Maas river and the border to Germany. Great area for cycling.

The sluftervallei on Texel is nice. Haven’t been with young rather than older children but lots of places to cycle to, near the beach, has an indoor pool

My friends have stayed there a couple of times with older kids. They rented bikes and also did a lot of boating on the lakes around the chalets. Nice towns nearby to visit. Also have a look at Roompot.com. We had a great week at the WaterVillage which is right next to their big Kamperland resort. Zeeland is beautiful. We did seal spotting boat trips, the Neeltje Jans delta park and there was a tree climbing place near by.

Roompot also have some accommodation right ON the beach.

Couple of Landel resorts in Burgh-Haamsted (Zeeland). Lovely beaches everywhere within cycling distance. The Landels in the town don’t have pools but one has tennis courts, bowling alley, mini golf. Also cycling distance from a Go Ape type place.

My teenagers still love going!

60 mins drive from Rotterdam for city fun. And about 60 mins from cute towns like Gouda and Delft.
