I don't know if this should be here or under Christmas!
I've always loved Christmas and for years have wanted to spend a few days doing a Christmas market (and exploring the immediate area). I mentioned this to my adult DD yesterday and to my delight, she wants to come too.
I think we'll go for Germany as we've never been there, we went to Brussels only recently which have explored, and well - German Christmas markets are famed. We'd be looking for atmosphere and tat um decorations.
Can anyone share their experiences? Where did you stay, how long for and was it worth it? We'd be going via Eurostar so need to be near public transport- and we are happy with budget but decent accommodation
