Travel insurance for EU holiday

I haven't been on holiday for years, I think I need a bit of a steer in the right direction!

I'm going away for a week with my secondary-age kids, to an EU country.

Where do I start with travel insurace? Can you recommend any? Thanks :)

We won't be doing anything particularly dangerous or sporty btw.

We'll just be mooching around cafes and museums, going to the beach etc.

Post Office is pretty good and really simple to arrange (assuming no medical issues)

We have our travel insurance through my bank account. You might have one too if you pay a monthly bank account fee.

I didn't apply in time, I didn't realise they were going to post an actual physical card, and it says they take 15 days. But it says if we need the cover, we can apply for an emergency card while we're away.

Can only be used in public hospitals ….but good when it works out
my GD got a raging ear infection last year abroad…seen by a doctor very quickly…..meds prescribed…..didn’t cost a penny
