Tivoli Christmas

We are looking at visiting Copenhagen and Tivoli Christmas market in November to get us into the Christmas spirit.

Has anyone been and have any top tips? DD is 13 and still loves Christmas (as do I!)

It will be first time to Denmark so general Copenhagen teen friendly sights and recommendations very welcome.

Thank you!

We went about 5 years ago with our DC who were young teens at the time. We stayed at the Marriott which was lovely and very close to Tivoli.
We went on a river cruise hop on/hop off to get our bearings, visited the viking museum, shopped, visited Christiania and Nyhavn. We visited Tivoli in the evening when it was lit up - beautiful but really busy!! Get there early. We returned the next day earlier as the first night it was shoulder to shoulder.

Thank you! I shall look all that up 😁

Tivoli is beautiful- we also went in the evening. River cruise and viking museum were both great fun.

We stayed in a hostel that was central. Next or Next House. Spotlessly clean and had a lovely safe vibe.

Thank you. Will definitely be looking up the boat trip and Viking museum. DH is half Viking and DD 1/4 Viking! 🏹
