Hi
Has anyone visited Sarajevo around Easter time? Looking to book for next year.

What did you think? Food/ hotels/ places to explore?

Just looking at a few travel guides now.

Went this summer. Would highly recommend Hotel Baskuca in Sarajevo. Only just opened but beautiful, super helpful staff, great location and excellent breakfast included. The city is very walkable and the old church, synagogue and mosques are worth visiting. The museum of crimes against humanity is tough but worthwhile the Sarajevo roses are poignant. Food is cheap and decent but can’t say we had any wow meals tbh.
The train to Mostar isn’t very frequent and we found Mostar itself hard going during the day as it gets overloaded with day trippers from Dubrovnik. There are nice trips from there that you can do on public transport e.g. the House of the Dervishes at Blagaj.

How do you rate transport costs?
How long did you stay? We are thinking 5 days.
