Be are booked for Mousses in May. I booked it ages ago and was very excited but now worried that it won't be as good as I hoped. Can anyone re-assure me that it will be great and that I will finally get a rest ?!

It is fabulous and you will get some rest! We were there in June 2006 for 2 weeks. Kids were booked into creche for afternoons of first week........they loved it so much they begged us to let them back in there during the second week! The nannies are great fun and the boys had jam-packed play sessions every day. They will babysit for you and also do your laundry if you drop it off with the kids :-) (at an extra charge - but it wasn't much). The villas are clean and spacious and the pool/gardens are great. There is a small mini-market about 5 minutes walk from the villas and Lefkas town has some lovely restaurants and bars.

Have fun.....and of course get some rest!

Hi Mousemole,
Sorry I can't reassure you, but would you mind posting your (honest) opinion when you get back as to the accomodation/atmosphere?
I've booked Mousses for early Sept for 2 weeks - staying in Apollo.
It would be really useful to know what the local supermarket sells too - dd will be 2 1/2 and I'm not sure whether she will be potty trained by then - it would be great to know they sell Pampers rather than carting a load over. (Anyone know if they loan out potties there??)
Anyone else going there first 2 weeks in Sept?

There are millions of mousses threads if you search.

It is great if you have pre-schoolers (and maybe later too)

Location not amazing, near a nice beach but too rough for kids to swim in really

Local town lovely, nice square in the middle for kids to run around in

Local shop afaik sells nappies
There are plenty of supermarkets too so you won't have a problem getting them
