Hi All,

We are off to Norfolk next week (Cromer). Does anyone have any recommendations for some fun days out other than beaches/arcades? We are there for a week so need some different bits for in between!

Many Thanks!

Amazing! There are some really lovely ideas here. I have booked in Bewilderwood and currently trying to decide between a boat trip or steam train!

Thank you all for your suggestions.

They're in Suffolk, 90mins-2hrs from Cromer.Confused

Ooops you are right. I get Norfolk and Suffolk mixed up- East Anglia is one big mix in my head. Apologies.

Orford castle is quite nice. It’s really a large tower on the coast but with great views of sea.

Framlingham Castle is bigger & inland with a wall walk.

These are in Suffolk though. They’re going to Norfolk.

Or a trip into Wells next the Sea where you can eat fish and chips on the harbour, go crabbing and take the mini train to the beach

the train has gone, you have to walk down to the beach now

There’s a little bus instead.
