We are looking for a pool holiday but our kids would love some water park action. I’d quite like to go to Portugal. I’d mentioned Albufeira, but my DH said he didn’t have a good impression when there years ago.

Can anyone recommend a good location? Access to water parks being a driver. We’d most probably rent a villa

We absolutely loved Alvor as a family friend place. Beautiful, sandy coves. 20 mins from Splash and Slide waterpark. Also not far from Praia da Rocha where they have an inflatable assault course in the sea.
Our kids loved this holiday, as we all did x

Seconding Alvor. We went last year with JET2. We stayed here https://www.jet2holidays.com/portugal/algarve/olhos-dagua-albufeira/3hb-guarana we got a five day pass to the water park , including transportation to & fro.
