Bit like St Ives but South Devon?

Love St Ives but would like to try somewhere a bit nearer.
Can anyone recommend a little seasidy town with a beach on the South Beach which is similar? Oh...needs not to be too hilly too.

Salcombe

Salcomb is lovely but might be a bit hilly.

I was also going to say Salcombe or across the water at East Portlemouth and Mill Bay beach

South Cornwall, Looe?

Kingsbridge area is beautiful and less touristy/hilly than Salcombe
