Travelling with a toddler on TUI

Hi! I have booked a TUI all inclusive to Menorca next June and my girl will be 19 months old, very exciting, but I have a few questions that I'm starting to think about...

  • I've booked for an infant in my package will the hotel automatically know that I need a travel cot or do I need to somehow request one?
  • We have a private taxi transfer booked, will they supply a car seat? Do I need to request one or will I have to bring one? (In this instance would a Doona Car Seat be easier and will a 19 month old fit in it? Shes fairly small?)
  • can't seem to find the answer online, is it really expensive to buy a plane seat seat for my girl? Me and my partner have booked window and middle seats so someone isn't trapped in with a baby but I'm thinking would it be worth paying for her to have a seat?
  • My girl is only allowed 10kg of Hold luggage, can I pay a little extra to take a nappy bag? (I find it ridiculous this isn't included not too bad a 19 month old but terrible for a newborn who needs everything)

If anyone has any advice it would be really appreciated! I'm staying in insotel Punta Prima Resort in Menorca if that helps at all 🥰

The hotel should know, but there's no harm in emailing them ahead of time to make sure.

I'm not sure about the taxi, but again, just email and ask.

Menorca is short flight so I'd probably just keep her on your lap. Or call TUi and ask about booking another seat.

The TUI hand luggage for adults is generous, I think you can probably fit what she needs in yours, but again call TUi and ask!

Basically, just ask the hotel/taxi/Tui these questions! It's their job to help you.

Just ask the hotel for a cot, the transfer firm for a car seat, and the airline for an extra seat and whatever luggage you will then be allowed. It is definitely nice to have a spare seat for a toddler!
