Luton Airport - Pick up and Drop off

Anybody familiar with Luton Airport? Specifically, the express pick up and drop off. I seem to remember a few years ago it wasn't right by the terminal entrance and that was before the car park fire. Passenger is travelling with a baby, hand luggage only (plus a buggy). Would rather walk 5 -10 minutes than have to get on and off a shuttle bus. DH has found scathing reviews about the difficulty of finding where to go and the astronomical cost!

6 weeks ago it was in the mid stay car park & it was really easy & free, a short walk from the terminal. I have a feeling I noticed a story about that changing almost immediately after that though (I noticed because we had commented on how great it was!).

Thank you. We had found that on the airport website but also been told through local family that it had changed very recently! Then DH found comments from people saying that there was sometimes congestion in the mid stay carpark and they got stuck and ran up charges. I guess we'll find out when we get there lol.

Get the train, it drops you almost at the door. Easy.

It reads to me as though there's a new one express drop off but you can still use the mid stay one for free.

Thank you. I've done that previously and it was very easy (think I got dropped off one station away, much better than driving into the airport). Was thinking, that with baby, the fewer transfers the better.

The new link up means it’s right into the airport. Honestly it is so much less stressful. Our local FB page is full of trauma about traffic and drop offs. I know juggling baby and bags is hard but if you can, borrow a sling, grab a trolley. Sorted
