Best age for Lapland

Do you think it’s best to go to Lapland with child ages 8 and 4 or 9 and 5. Just trying to debate which year as it will be a once in a childhood trip.

Personally I'd go for 9 and 5.
We took ours at 11 and 7 as we had to miss 2 years due to covid.
It's obviously very cold and our 7 year old struggled at times. The days are also long and tiring so they are better able to cope if slightly older.
It was still magical, even though they were older than we'd planned when we booked the trip.
