Luxembourg trip for 2 Nights trip - August month end

I'm planning a 2-night road trip to Luxembourg at the end of August and would love some suggestions for interesting places to visit along the way (in Luxembourg, Belgium, or France). I’ll be driving from Kent (Folkestone), so recommendations for easily accessible destinations would be greatly appreciated. Also, are there any specific formalities that British nationals should be aware of?

I'm going to Luxembourg end of the month too, for 1 night. I know there is a lovely waterfall somewhere in Luxembourg that might be worthwhile.
