Ryanair - car seats

Hi all. I have tried to find the answer already but I’m getting mixed info. We’re flying with Ryanair in a couple of weeks and taking 2 car seats with us. I have a car seat bag that will fit both seats. Has anyone done this recently and can tell me if they’re allowed to be in the bag to be checked into the hold?

We went with Ryanair at Xmas and with children you can check in free car seats. You just take them to desk, they label them and they go in the oversized luggage area (staff will keep you right)

And sorry yes, I always put ours in a bag to protect then from bumps and dirt.
