Majorca in October

Hello, can anyone recommend a hotel or resort in Majorca? 2 x adults, 2 x kids (will be 9 and 7). We want sandy beaches, swimming pools, walking distance of souvenir shops/ market/ restaurants, day trips to interesting places.

The pools will be too cold for swimming in October.

We've been numerous times and pools outside of July / Aug are normally too cold.

October half term? I agree the pools will be chilly at the end of October. Also many touristy areas will be right at the end of the season so may well close up early, have limited stock as it’s not a touristy destination ( outside of Palma itself) year round.

We went last week of September/first week October once and it was far too cold to use the pools and very cold at night. I would probably go to the Canaries if you want a beach holiday.

Any recommendations of somewhere else? Either October or April - don't want to go in summer holidays as I think it will be too hot...

I have been to Mallorca 3 out of the last 4 Octobers and it has been hot. No need for even a cardigan in the evening.

We went to Tonga Towers Oct last year wasn't cold at all (averaged around 26-28c), we went again in June, and we're going again this October 😊
Ticks all your boxes OP, kids pool, short walk from all the shops and restaurants along the can picafort strip, you can get the number 324 bus to Playa Del Carmen, Alcudia bay, and Alcudia old town (beautiful place)
And the can picafort beach is beautiful. Look it up.
It's also a reasonably priced hotel op

I will add that we went 6th-13th October and it was hot (not sure about the end of oct half term)

Madeira has been great and nicely warm in October for sunbathing and the pool and last year, in early November.
