What to do in Bologna for 5 hours tomorrow

We have about 5 hours tomorrow before our flight. Will be 36C! Our bags are stored. What can we do that means we won’t melt? We will be 2 adults and 2 teenagers who are happy to do museum etc

Depends what you have already done in Bologna.

Eat.

Seriously. The home of Spag Bol.

The city is very small. Wander then EAT.

Food is excellent.

Just wonder around, have lunch. We did the bus tour which was good. Its a lovely, small city with bags of character.

Bar Mercato was the highlight of our day trip to Bologna for DH and me! It’s just behind the food market, serves a couple of different plates of pasta and seeves beer/cocktails to mainly locals. When it’s so hot, you don’t really want to do too much else!

Drink gorgeous wine and people watch

Slowly walk around under the columns - take a photo of the fountain with the nipples. Go to max Mara for the air con?
