We are going tomorrow & have only been on a hot summers day before when the kids have run around in the water. Is it worth taking cosies & towels or does it not get turned on until the weather gets warmer??

If they were turned on my ds's would be in whatever the weather. You can always buy stuff there though.

We went 4 years ago when DD was 3 and it was baking hot - was Good Friday and they were on - I'd take stuff just in case.

better take stuff & leave it in the car just in case. Not taking the buggy tomorrow so trying to not take too much stuff, it's not easy though, I always tend to take so much stuff 'just in case' & am finding it hard to get out of the habit.

When I've been there in April in previous years there have been some children in there in puddle suits and wellies.

The Waterworks weren't switched on, lovely sunny day but cold, cold, cold.
