My colleague here in the office says she used travelrepublic.co.uk for hotel and ryanair for flights.

We flew with easyjet and book a hotel through hotelsdirect. It's a fab city.

also try expedia.co.uk, we have don 2 city breaks through them and they have been good.

I am new to this website so you have probably already been to Rome! If not, I used a book called 'Special Places to stay'. Before I had a baby I used it to travel all over Europe so I would highly recommend it.
