Europe Family Hotel Recommendation

Hi guys,
Starting to plan for our holiday next summer - late May most likely or early June at the latest.
We are 2 adults and 2 girls who will be aged 6 & 8 when the time comes.
Our holidays with the girls have typically been either an apartment in Majorca or else a campsite in France & we have enjoyed both.
This year however, we went to Dubai in March for my wife's 40th birthday and stayed in a hotel and it was great.
The things that made it for us were...

1. The family room was really nice and had plenty of room
2. The hotel had a heated pool
3. There were loads of restaurants within a reasonably short walk

I'm wondering if anybody could recommend a hotel in Europe that they have stayed in that would satisfy these requirements? Have a budget of approx. €2k for the week. Not huge I know but hoping it may be more manageable in May. Any first hand recommendations much appreciated.

Does €2k have to cover meals and drinks too (or, put another way, all inclusive or B&B)? And flights?

For room-only you should be fine in May with €2 for a week.

However, not many places will have heated pools (outside of the spa area, which might not let kids in). On Majorca for example I know of only about three or four regular (as opposed to super-luxury) family hotels that have them. The problem is that people only want the pool heated in April/May and October, and then they would often want it cooled (which is a thing in the Middle East).

Girandella Family hotel in Croatia has good sized family rooms (with two separate sleeping areas) and heated pools. There are a few restaurants within 10 mins walk and loads if you walk to the town centre (which took us 20 mins). It’s right on the beach and our dc didn’t seem bothered that it pebbly not sandy.
