Europe travel advice

We will be doing a tour of Europe with some visiting family in December. We plan to visit Paris, Eurodisney (as we will have children with us), possibly the Champagne region, Cologne, Bruge and Amsterdam. We have approx 1 day and night in each location. A couple of questions though...

  1. Is the Champagne region worth a visit en-route to elsewhere?
  2. Also, they want to see a little of Germany. Would you skip Cologne and perhaps do Aachen instead to save on driving and as it has the Tri-point?
  3. Is Antwerp a visit also or is Bruge sufficient do you think?
Please say if I've missed anywhere worth visiting although obviously we can't do everything. Many thanks

Champagne region in December, it's a no from me.

That's an awful lot of travelling, are you driving?

1 night isn’t enough time to explore any of those places - you’ll end up with an exhausting and wasted trip

Thanks both. In some places we've allowed more like 36/48 hours but we are limited in when we can go/how long for as our family are flying over from Australia then during school holidays and we just have to make the best of it. We are driving and have allowed for travel time and will try to stop frequently.
