Dropping off at Stansted airport

Hi, I need to drive my son to Stansted airport on Friday, and trying to work out where the best place is to park so I can go in with him, without being too far from the entrance. Can anyone recommend the best place to get to?

Pretty sure the short stay parking is the best option - obvs will have to pay though
There's info here at the bottom - mid stay is cheapest but have to get a bus and the orange one which js right outside is £15 for an hour

I dropped my son.. Orange short stay. 30 mins £10 or 1 hour £18.

A short walk to departures

Park and ride is free for an hour.
It's literally a five minute shuttle buss to the terminal every few minutes

As said, park and ride you can park for an hour and bus will take him straight there. If you arrive early, you can park at petrol station close by for 30 mins free, use their toilet, grab a coffee or snack if you want.
