I’m planning a trip to the Maldives (yay!) to celebrate a significant birthday. The shortlist is Sun Siyam Vilu Reef, Kuda Fushi, Reethi Faru and Vilamendhoo.
I’ve been to both Kuda Fushi & Vilamendhoo before so am looking for feedback from anyone who’s been to Vilu Reef or Reethi. We’re interested in the beach villas with private pools.
I love the look of Vilu Reef bar one thing - the proximity of Meedhu Island. A close built up island with radio towers etc isn’t giving me remote and away from it all holiday vibes. The pool villas are on the other side of the island so the Meedhu view wouldn’t be ’in my face’ but some feedback from someone who’s been there would be good. Both on Meedhu and your thoughts on Vilu Reef itself.
