OK so l am planning a trip to barcelona 3 nights in October with my adult kids. We have cheap flights and will look for accomadtion nearer time. We will 2 full days and 2 half days there.
We want to see as many sights as possible are the city passes worth it?I'm a bit confused there are so many different ones. Anyone got any tips on how best to spend our time there and easiest way to see the sights?

I lived there for several years and now have a house in the suburbs, i guess you should think about what types of things you want to see as they are spread over the city, metro is good and fast..buses good....at least it wont be 40c and full of tourists so easier to get around and no queues etc.....if you like the Gaudi stuff then it is spread out and way uptown....you could forget about a lot of the grid system, only the sagrada familia is located there....the gothic area is great and interesting...not much on the ramblas just tat and awful food, port is small and not worth doing also.
