Any recommendations for hotels/holiday village with 2 rooms or own space for 15 DS? Always had family room and he sleeps on sofa bed, but he (and me and DH) really need our own space and DS getting itoo tall for sofa beds designed for smaller kids! Have looked at all inclusive places we've been to before but all family rooms so all in same space. Tia

I think you just have to book two rooms. Many hotels will only accept the booking if each room has an adult in but you can just switch round when you get there.

Requesting interconnecting rooms has approx a 50 percent success rate imo

Thanks. We have enquired at the hotel we've been to before but as you say, no guarantee, bit risky.

We stayed in a hotel in Crete which was classed as a 2 bed bungalow. It basically had a bedroom with 2 singles as you first walk in the door then a short corridor with wardrobes on one side and the bathroom on the other. That led to a double bedroom which had a door for privacy. It was ideal and the hotel was lovely. I’ve linked it below for you.

The Fishing Village section of Aliathon Resort in Cyprus has lots of different room combinations including two-bedroom suites. The family rooms at Riu Gran Canaria have two sleeping areas each with proper beds.

We found that 2bed-suites were eyewatering expensive. Difficult to find on tui and when DD was 15 lots of hotels had her classed as an adult for direct booking.

We booked separate rooms ever since. Never an issue
