AI / Full Board / Half Board that is really good for allergies and intolerances

Trying to plan a family holiday (all 16+), consensus is that a beach / pool fly and flop holiday is wanted.

Issue is, we have a couple of people with complex food allergies. Does anyone have any recommendations for a hotel or resort which has been really good for allergies / intolerances?

Open to anywhere in Europe, will be late Summer we go (September probably), budget is up to £2000 pp per week if AI including flights from Manchester or Liverpool.

Most mid-to-upmarket AI places — in Spain, anyway — are pretty hot on the EU 14 standard allergens (which are still also the standard list in the UK: www.food.gov.uk/business-guidance/allergen-guidance-for-food-businesses). They have the advantage of preparing the food on a fortnightly rota to set recipes and so they know exactly what's going into each dish. There should be labels on the buffet.

If the allergies in question are to something other than the major 14 then you could ask to meet the head chef or food & beverage manager when you check in.

Thanks! One person has a tree nut allergy which is usually fairly well labelled, the other has a dairy allergy + allergies to several fruits and vegetables which are not top 14 allergens so makes it much trickier.
