Holidays for single parent and two young children

So I'm not actually a single parent (yet) but I'm considering taking my two children (3 & 5) on holiday alone. Does anyone know any good destinations abroad or UK where it will be enjoyable for all of us! I'd love if there was a kid's club so I could have an hour or two to myself too to relax/exercise.

What month/season would you be planning to go? Also depends how far you want to travel and what destinations are available to you at the airport you're travelling from.

Lots of family options with kids clubs in Spain, Portugal, Greece etc. What kind of budget are you thinking?

What your budget? Also childcare for under 5's often is harder to find, in the future it will be easier

It really depends on your budget and how adventurous you are. Look at Club Med, we’ve had amazing holidays with them. Or try Marriot Marbella. Pine Cliffs, Portugal. U.K. destinations Center parks was always a winner for the kids, not so much for me.

I’d recommend going to a resort, do all inclusive and plan to not leave the hotel complex if you’re feeling a little nervous. The kids will be fine as long there’s a kids pool and a beach nearby. In all honesty at your kids ages, you’re better off going with another adult if you can.

Iberostar, Ikos, Centre Parks

I would personally look at TUI holiday village they do a few around Europe. It's AI and they have axing kids clubs.

TUI Blue for kids tend to do kids club from 3. Most others I have seen wouldn’t start from 4.

Tui cruise?

I loved our holiday in Sardinia with Neilsons, amazing kids club and lots of activities for both us and the children. If you’re going alone I highly recommend it as you can join in with different groups and activities and won’t feel singled out/ lonely.

Thanks all, happy to go to Europe or stay in UK. I'm based near London so any London airport, or I could drive, Eurostar, ferry etc. Budget would be around £1500 and happy to travel in school time.
