Could you help suggest a holiday?

Hello! I have specific leave slots I can take from work and our next holiday with our toddler who’ll be 21m is a window from 26 October to 6 November. I’d really only like to go away for a week in that window and doesn’t matter when specifically.

we want to go to Europe in the car so take the ferry across. We could get most ferry’s we’ll just make our way there but I don’t want to drive after the ferry for longer than 4 hours or so in total.

we’ve been to the Netherlands a few times now and was before I book something similar to what we’ve done before does anyone have any suggestions?

id like a cottage/lodge type place but not a small mobile caravan. I’d like a pool to enjoy with toddler and we want to cycle if the weather would allow.

so any good eurocamps europarcs centerparcs landal dormio suggestions are welcome please. No budget per se.

I’ve enjoyed reading the threads on Switzerland and Germany and not sure either work this time round but that’s inspiration for future holidays

Centre Parcs de Vosserman is brilliant and just inside your 4 hour limit. Good cycle tracks, indoor soft play and enough to do indoors if the weather isn’t great.

Center Parcs Erperheide is perfect for that age, lovely pools for a toddler plus a big soft play and petting farm. It's about 3.5 hour drive from Calais, a bit less if crossing to Dunkirk or Hook of Holland.

De Haan could also be an option, much closer at only 1.5 hours from Calais and has a massive soft play. The pool is a bit more limited though with only a small baby pool with one slide but may be all you need for 21 month old. You could do a day trip to Bruges, it's near the beach if you get a fine day, and theres some woods for den building.

Have a look at Little Clogs Holidays website, they have lots of suggestions for Landal and Eurocamp sites for toddlers. I emailed them a while back with similar requirements and they suggested Landal Het Vennenbos, Beekse Bergen, Duinrell, Landal De Lommerbergen, or Landal Rabbit Hill.

Isn't the 26th half term week? If so prices will be higher.
