Looking at holidays for next September/October. My little girl will be just about to turn 2.

We have a couple of holidays planned for next year already that are self catering so looking at a week of stress free all inclusive!

Really flexible about where but ideally wouldn't want to fly more than 4/5 hours.

We went to a lovely one in Turkey a few months ago, one thing I really liked was that of an evening the staff brought drinks to your table so there was no queuing at the bar. The staff were brilliant, before you'd even finished your drink another one had appeared on your table (not that we could really take advantage with a 5 month old at the time!)

Not too fussed about having loads of restaurants to choose from, my husband is a fussy eater unfortunately so we usually stick to the buffet!

Would like good pool options for the little one. Something with little slides, water features etc would be great.

A spa would be lovely but not a deal breaker.

Anything else to entertain her would be a huge plus, and ideally no more than an hour transfer time from the airport.

Hoping some helpful Mumsnetters will have some ideas for me!

We recently went to the palladium hotel in menorca. Short flight and under 30 min transfer. It was very family friendly and not too busy! It didn’t have an extra restaurant just the all inclusive buffet but the food was really good! Resort the hotel was in was quiet ish but it was perfect for us and our 18 month old as we got the bus a few times elsewhere e.g Mahon the city and again both places were less than 30 min away! There was a little kids park a short walk away. The beach was family friendly too as it was in a bay so great for paddling and playing in the sand.

Not sure if weather is warm enough for you in September/October but we stayed at Arminda Hotel and Spa in Crete with 1.5 and 3.5 year olds, it was great with nice kids pool with slides and play areas both under shade. There was a kids club with a few activities like face painting and a mini disco in the evening. You could also go inside the kids club and use the toys and jigsaws etc. whenever it was open. Buffet was perfectly fine and there were fridges full of snacks like jelly and yoghurt which our children enjoyed during the day. Nice calm sandy beach just a minute's walk away. Would definitely stay there again.

If you're happy with warm rather than boiling hot weather in sept/Oct, take a look at the Ikos resorts and Sani in Halkidiki. They're amazing with kids and you don't have to lift a finger at all, they basically wait on you hand and foot!

Ikos is all Inclusive, sani isn't AI but has absolutely loads of activities and restaurants if you don't mind paying for drinks. Porto Sani or beach are perfect for toddlers.
