We loved Tavira last year but can't get into the same hotel

Has anyone been to Carvoeiro or Alvor?

Not interested in Villamoura or Alvufeira

I got back from alvor yesterday! Absolutely loved it! Food amazing. Atmosphere amazing. Beaches amazing. It was clean, I felt very safe etc! Weather was about 34-37 every day

We will be child free

I always recommend Alvor to families. It’s a beautiful place. I don’t know anything about the hotels but there is plenty of choice for food.

There's just two of us
If it's all play parks and screaming kids it's not for me

We stayed at a hotel called penina and got a 9 euros taxi to Alvor most nights. Loads of bars & restaurants. Very lively at night!

Would recommend Carvoiero. We stayed on outskirts of town but walked down to the square most evenings where there was live music and a wide variety of restaurants
