Flying with friends, separate cabin?

No no, I don’t mean us getting our own cabin!

We are flying with friends to Barbados soon. There’s an offer to upgrade to Premium Economy on the flight back. Would it be bad if dh and I did this? Should we tell the friends we are travelling with?

You’re all adults - of course it’s fine.

Run4it2 · 31/07/2024 11:45

It's fine, but I'd tell them you're doing this so they have the option to decide whether or not to do it as well

TizerorFizz · 31/07/2024 12:10

Do it but tell them. Do they have the option too?

MovingSwiftlyOn · 31/07/2024 12:24

Yes, definitely tell them. I remember an old episode of The Archers when Peggy upgraded without telling her travelling companions (can't remember who, Susan perhaps?) and it came over as so rude and insulting of her. 😂

YaWeeFurryBastard · 31/07/2024 12:29

Of course you should tell them, perhaps they might like to upgrade as well? I can’t see why you wouldn’t.
