We're staying in Alcúdia and do love the beach but also hoping to find something a bit smaller, maybe a cove nearby? Any suggestions helpful, thank you ☺️

Can you hire a car? There are some fabulous places in the northwest around Sa Calobra etc. Driving can be a bit hairy mind! The best and quieter places won’t be that easy to get to at this time of year.

Cala San Vicente has three coves. I think there is a bus but a car would be better

There are plenty of places to look at, but there are zero road/foot-accessible beaches between Soller and Cala Sant Vicente other than Sa Calobra itself, which is pebbly and full of day trippers gawking at the rock formations.

From Alcudia to Cala Sant Vicente on the bus you have to go to Puerto Pollensa and then change, so it takes about 1½ hours including average waiting time. By car it's only about 25 minutes.

There are also a few smaller beaches on the north side of Alcudia, where the sea is actually Pollensa bay. Have a zoom around on Google Maps.

Incorrect. Look up Cala Tuent.

We were there last year. They filmed the Peter Ustinov version of Evil under the Sun there- have a Google.

Cool! I’d highly recommend lunch at the outdoor terrace of Es Vergeret which overlooks the beach. It’s stunning. You must book.

Doh! This is particularly embarrassing because I've been there, albeit back in 2008!
