Please help me choose a place in Croatia to go on holiday in May.
There seems to be so many different places to go I've got myself confused!
Children 13 & 8
Preferably a villa with a pool (can be a shared pool on a complex) apartment or a hotel with 2 bed apartments. We don't want kids sleeping in the lounge.
Walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach, things to do, possibly little islands to visit by jet ski or boat. We like hippy markets, trying local food and exploring but don't want to be driving miles.

We went to Croatia 2 years ago, close to Dubrovnik. It was dh and I, our 3 adult dc and their partners. We had an amazing time!

Villa with pool, close to a supermarket and walking distance to a great little restaurant which also acted as a pub so great for our family as it meant dh and I (oldies!!) could go to bed and leave dc having fun!

We were just outside Cavtat, where there we boat tours (we did an all day one with snorkelling, food and beer!), the young folks did a kayak tour at sunset. There were multiple restaurants. We did 2 days in Dubrovnik itself, a (long but great) day trip to Kotor in Montenegro and a day to just outside Split for zip lining.

Weather was perfect (late June) and we were delighted with the time we spent there!

I've been to Dubrovnik (which was beautiful) but without kids and only for 3 nights which we loved.
I'll have a look at the places you have suggested.

I love Zadar….and much cheaper than dubrovnik

I've booked Brac. We are staying 10 minutes from the port so hoping so see you some other places while we are there.

Another vote for Zadar which is a lovely town. We actually stayed in Nin, about 20 mins drive away and on the coast. Nin is also lovely.

Ahhh Nin is lovely….we cycled there from Zadar
