One day premium passport renewal service

Does anyone have experience of the above? If so, how many hours does it take? We have two hours to spare from our Monday morning passport office appointment before we’d need to leave to make our flight and wondering how likely this will be with the ‘Premium, Same Day Passport Renewal Service’. Thanks

I'd say probably unlikely to only take 2 hours

I hope this is for an adult passport

I did it in 2008 and it took around 4 hours.

I very much doubt the service has improved!

What time is the appointment?

I did this in February, had an 11.00 appointment and was back out by 11.15. On the gov.uk website it says appointments last up to 10 minutes.

Yes, I did. Booked the appointment on Friday , took place on Monday, took my old passport with me, left with new passport 15 minutes later. This was in Liverpool.

The rules have changed now and now the four hour wait is mandatory unfortunately
