If so, where are you going and which month are you going in? Looking for some inspiration.

Yes! Egypt for 10 days in August ☺️

Dontsayyouloveme · 27/07/2024 20:43

Cyprus booked for feb with my bestie.. childfree! Then will book one for me and my son when we get back from Ibiza in two weeks.. need to see how that goes first! Thinking last week of summer term to save some pennies.. Also, hoping to get a European city break booked with bf over Easter but can’t until nearer the time!

Norwegian fjords cruise in August 2025, and looking at Iceland for December 2025!

We are doing opposite - just back from Iceland planning Norway in May.

user906532 · 27/07/2024 20:55

Yes we have 2 booked for next year, Norwegian Fjords cruise and US road trip (Nashville & Tennessee).

Sirzy · 27/07/2024 20:55

Those who have done Icelandic cruises who did you go with?

ZenNudist · 27/07/2024 20:57

Today I'm toying either the Japan itinerary for April.

GreatTheCat · 27/07/2024 21:06

I did the Iceland / Norway one this year. Totally recommend!

halfthesun · 27/07/2024 21:09

Safari in Kenya with husband and his family Daffodil

LadyLindaT · 27/07/2024 21:09

I have, but I am getting very worried about how hot Madrid is getting, year on year.

GreatTheCat · 27/07/2024 21:12

I'm still to do one more this year, but next year have a 5 week cruise over to some islands in the Caribbean and the a 3 week cruise to the Canary islands and Maderia.

Fraley · 27/07/2024 21:36

Big birthday at the end of March and flights to Miami booked for a road trip of Southern Florida & The Florida Keys for my husband and I, itinerary, car hire & hotels will be booked in the coming weeks/months.

Then in May a week in Rhodes or another Greek Island with our children who are in their early twenties and whom haven’t holidayed with us for 4/5 years which I’m so looking forward too!

cinders222 · 27/07/2024 21:54

Florida in October

Itsmeamandaberry · 27/07/2024 21:57

I have an April holiday booked and found my hotel for summer 2025 just waiting to sort dates

Kitkat1523 · 27/07/2024 21:58

We are in the planning stage….it’s a 3 week trip to Vancouver and rockies

fussychica · 28/07/2024 09:40

Have Fuerteventura booked for Feb and starting to plan others. Thinking Nice again May, Germany/Switzerland June and Greece in Sept. Probably Canaries again Nov /Dec. We no longer do long haul which gets a bit restrictive on the choices for winter sun.

Echobelly · 28/07/2024 09:47

No, January is the earliest I'll think of holiday for the same year, unless maybe we have a long haul around a family wedding or something - that's the only time I'd plan longer than about 8 months ahead

TenarAtuan · 28/07/2024 10:09

I know where we want to go-Italy- but not done anything more than identify the country!

WitchyBits · 28/07/2024 10:17

Yes! Flying to Barbados and cruising back in April and then going on a Norwegian fjords cruise in June.

familyissues12345 · 28/07/2024 10:23

Nothing booked, but hoping for something big in the summer as we've got special birthdays plus youngest GCSE year

Gracesquirrel · 28/07/2024 10:59

Have a Fjords cruise booked for May 2025 like pps have said I'm disabled so need to book an accessible cabin quite far in advance as they book up very quickly especially since we go for a balcony cabin and particularily wanted that for the Fjords.

40somethingme · 28/07/2024 12:06

We are welcoming the New Year 2025 in Florida and are currently in planning stages for July/August California road trip. Waiting for BA to release flights as we want to DIY (cheaper than a package holiday).
The plan is San Francisco/ Yosemite/ Monterey/ scenic cost drive/ LA with Disneyland and finish in San Diego.

CheltenhamLady · 28/07/2024 12:21

We always book well ahead, so Turkey in Sept, then nothing till May 2025 which is a european road trip and a villa in Spain, then the big one in Feb 2026 Australia/New Zealand.

gettingolderbutcooler · 28/07/2024 12:44

Yes! Portugal in Easter- separate flights and Airbnb, and France in August.

RainintheDesert · 28/07/2024 17:20

Nothing yet but plan to go inter-railing to Germany and possibly Poland.

I got divorced this year and want to go to places my ex never wanted to. I could have gone by myself but funds were limited as was time, and I felt guilty about not including him. I know better now.

I'm going to Spain next month with my DParents and nearly grown DD. I haven't been for over 20 years. We're staying just outside Marbella. I can't wait.

Dontmesswithmyhead · 29/07/2024 17:08

Yes, I'm just waiting for a couple of months before I book 2026 as the agents seem to get a bit stressed about me being so early!

I know what I want, so book super early so I never need to compromise.

Realised you did ask for destination so Edit: off to Svalbard in July. It's onboard a ship (I won't say cruise as the entertainment is all on the island not on the boat)
