If so, where are you going and which month are you going in? Looking for some inspiration.

Big bday for me next year so have a few booked. Centreparcs in March, Brighton April, DisneyWorld May, California July and then the usual Spain in August and Portugal Oct.

First time ive had next year booked, with still 3 more holidays to do this year.

Coconuthotchocolate · 27/07/2024 19:06

Yes, Madeira at the end of March. Great price!

tuttuttutt · 27/07/2024 19:07

Ds starts school in September. I can't believe people book that early. We're gonna be fucked for choices by the looks of it! I only booked my wedding that far in advance.

Thursdaygirl · 27/07/2024 19:08

We’re going on a cruise round the Med in June, then a beach holiday to a Greek island in August. We usually do a UK break over Easter and that will be sorted by the end of September

WhamBamThankU · 27/07/2024 19:09

We're about to book next years and it's either Dominican Republic or Mexico for 2 weeks all inclusive.

PurBal · 27/07/2024 19:09

@PrincessPeache were considering the fjords for the first time but never done a cruise before. Have you? Any tips? What ship / line etc?

AmazingBouncingFerret · 27/07/2024 19:11

Yep. Maldives in February.

Onyoupop · 27/07/2024 19:11

We have booked a week in Devon in May half term and then a 2 week cruise in the summer.

Sirzy · 27/07/2024 19:11

Yes, and 2026. Both cruises and we need accessible cabins so always book when released.

The fjords are amazing, we have only done them on P and O which worked very well for us. It very much depends on what you want from the onboard life really which is best.

I don’t know really . I’m an early booker . Hotels etc usually stay the same price .
I got up early to book EasyJet flights in September but by June of this year they were cheaper ……

StevieFae · 27/07/2024 19:14

I haven’t booked for 2024 yet and can only take school holidays! 😵‍💫🫣😊

PrincessPeache · 27/07/2024 19:17

This thread inspired me to go book for 2026 😂

TokyoSushi · 27/07/2024 19:20

We have France skiing for Feb half term, no idea for the summer, not been on this summers yet!

Takoneko · 27/07/2024 19:22

Sort of. Flights to Japan are booked for April. We will finalise the itinerary and book hotels sometime this Autumn.

We might go on another trip somewhere in Europe later in the year but nothing firmly decided or booked.

hubby doesn't need any prompting to book holidays... im sure he will already have his eye on 2026

2027 is the big year as its my 60th and he's planning on all out

MinnieMountain · 27/07/2024 19:31

I’ve got Rome in March with a friend booked.

DH, DS and I plan to go to a Yelloh in May HT but that’s not bookable yet.

We’ve “booked” Austria in August staying in a family member’s holiday home.

annieloulou · 27/07/2024 19:33

Yes, 2 trips for 2025 booked.
3 nights in Seville in February for my birthday, which is always in half term, therefore expensive so booked the flights as soon as they came out.

Croatian cruise for May for our 30th wedding anniversary, also falls in half term week (thanks factory shutdown).

DancefloorAcrobatics · 27/07/2024 19:34

Not booked, but thinking about going Naples in April and Lake District in August. Both max 1 week.

I usually book in October/ November.

Acunningruse · 27/07/2024 19:35

@PrincessPeache I came on here to say we are also going on a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords in August 2025!

We will also have a break at easter, probably a caravan holiday not too far away, but will book that much nearer thr time.

Emilyjayne9421 · 27/07/2024 20:15

Not yet because we’re going on our 2024 holiday in a few weeks. It was an expensive one so we’ll see how finances go, if we can’t go on one next year we’ll save for 2026.

itainthalfhot · 27/07/2024 20:17

PrincessPeache · 27/07/2024 16:32

Norwegian fjords cruise in August 2025, and looking at Iceland for December 2025!

we did the fjords in April this year and loved it so much we are going back March next year!

Iceland is on the list also... so maybe a weekend break

FloatyBoaty · 27/07/2024 20:26

Yes, found a really really good deal for the canaries in may half term- and from our local airport with good flight times - which never happens- so it was too good to sleep on.

It’s the sort of thing I would never have wanted pre-DS, but the hotel looks fantastic with uniformly fab reviews, and we’re staying in a quiet part of the island, with great beaches and snorkeling- which is all he wants really. It was such a good deal my parents (well mum and stepdad) spontaneously booked to go at the same time too 😬… which will turn out to be the best or worst thing ever. 😂
