London for the day, 3 kids (7, almost 6 and almost 3) doing the eye, any other suggesstions?

Science Museum - fab fun for kids.

If they like Dinosaurs then the Natural History Museum - that's good on the wow factor anyway.

Walk along Thames/get the bus/boat to Tower Bridge and go to Tower of London. Stop at Tate Modern on the way and larf at what passes for art.

Tube to South Kensington and museums (Science adn Natural History.)

Duck boat tour - goes from the road to the Thames, best to Google.

Walk over Westminster Bridge from London Eye and go to Covent Garden/Trafalgar Square/Leicester Square/Chinatown for lunch - no good if very wet.

Half price theatre ticket booth in Leicester Square if it's Wednesday.

IMAX cinema at Waterloo v close to the Eye.

The London Aquarium is good- and near the Eye too to save your legs!

or the Science or Natural History museums are both winners on rainy days as well. (also much cheaper than the Aquarium- I think they scrapped the entrance fees in favour of donations instead.)

I would recommend tate modern they have fab family activities and it is free and you can walk along the river from the eye to the tate taking in the street performers etc

London Transport Museum, within walking distance from the Eye. £10 per adult, children go free. We went on Friday (8 y.o and 3 y.o) and it was good. TGI Friday's nearby too.

i was very disappointed with the aquarium. small & scruffy & £££. duck tour is ace, as is tate modern & transport museum -- go for one of those instead.
