Off to Lanzarote next month. DS is now 4, he has been on holiday quite a few times and has always had all in one swimsuits. Looking at age 4-5 most swimwear is just trunks, what do your boys wear at a similar age? I'm sure he will be okay with shorts and a hat but not sure.

Swim shorts and rash top or t shirt to stop shoulders burning. I would advise to look at the American Red Cross document about swimwear colours - there are a few posts about it on here.

Long sleeve rash vest for UV protection. Bright colours for visibility.
