Looking for some inspiration please for two indecisive adults!

Sunshine a must.

Prefer a flight less than 3 hours.

Thanks so much!

formentera has the stunning white beach. Don’t know what the town is like though, I was just there on a day trip. You could stay in Ibiza town?

Sicily (Taromina) was my favourite. I'd love to go back there or Croatia (never been), but we've had kids since then and it's too expensive. Wish we'd done Croatia before we had kids. We'll have to go after they leave home.

Menorca. Mahon area.

Oh exciting just booked a week here with absolutely no knowledge of the place at all!! Sorry OP to but in !
My suggestion for you to make up for my rudeness is Vieste Italy. The nicest beach the town is gorgeous food amazing. In a national park. Reluctant to tell lots of people about it but just between a few mumnetters why not??

Chains in crete. Beautiful old town (watch out for pick pockets!) with plenty of sandy beaches nearby.

im going a bit of piste here but the Norfolk coast line has everything you are asking for. It is the driest and hottest place in the UK and has some stunning beaches and quaint towns.

Collioure is lovely and was recently voted France's favourite village.

Sete is also very nice but beach not directly next to the town, but lots of lovely beaches and other villages to visit in the area.

Thanks, yes that is another regular. Love Wells Next the Sea.

We have holidayed in Norfolk and Suffolk in the past couple of years. First year, glorious, last year, ok just.

I want more ‘secure’ weather thus year, a guarantee of sun.

Milos or Naxos. Some very beautiful beaches and fabulous food.

Although one of my favourite ever beaches is on the Cote Sauvage in France up from La Palmyre. Miles and miles of quiet beach backed with pine forests and lovely cycle trails.

I'm also very partial to the wonderful Plage de Foulerot on the Ile D'Oleron. Lots of nice towns to visit although a car is pretty necessary unless you base yourself near that side of the island and cycle about.

The beach at the top of the Ile de Re near the lighthouse is pretty gorgeous too - Conche de Baleines. And you can cycle all over the island really easily.

We were in Croatia last year - Cavtat, Korcula, Split and and an sland across from Zadar called Uglian. The sea was stunning and super clear but we didn't see any sandy beaches. Fab towns to visit though.
