Gatwick airport security wait times

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has travelled from Gatwick last week or will be this week if they could let me know how long they have waited to go through security. Thank you

Very quick, max of 5/6 minutes.

Would have been even quicker if I hadn't worn my under wired bra 😃

I had this. Also hair slides and anything in pockets.

Yes was 5 minutes max last week. We are convinced they are the most efficient security ever !!
Still had to have liquids out though despite them having the new machines ???!!

Last time I went through security at Gatwick I was very late for a connection and thought I would miss it. They were very quick and professional, and looked like they actually took pride in their work, as opposed to some airports where you feel like you are merely a distraction from the all-important business of nose-picking. I had a tiny tube of some kind of liquid in my carry-on which they found, swabbed, and gave back to me in a few seconds. Genuinely impressive.
