Anyone been to Brazil with teens?

My 13 yr old DC is really keen on going to Brazil for a holiday. I don't know where it's come from but I said I'd look into it.

What I've read makes me think it's really expensive - compared to other long haul holidays we've had in Asia. Anyone been recently got any thoughts?

I've not been with teens, but I was there over Christmas. Yes, it is pretty expensive compared to Asia, but decent enough value compared to the UK. I absolutely loved it, so I recommend it wholeheartedly, with a caveat that you need to take some safety precautions that you might not be used to. Airfares in the region were, for some reason, very high. For safety reasons I would recommend making sure your phone works so that you can use Uber, which is very cheap.

Thanks - what sort of safety precautions? And do you need to fly to get around?
