Would love to hear from anyone with experience . . . which countries are best for giving the most luxury for the least spend? I've heard that Thailand and Bali are quite good for this but interested to hear about them or any other suggestions for luxury top-of-the-range hotels or spas in areas that offer great dining and also some local nightlife.
I want to spend on the best of everything - accommodation, food, massages, leaving huge tips... and whatever takes my fancy.
There's no budget as such, I'm just curious where I would get the most bang for my buck. I have generally only ever travelled in the richer parts of Europe, US and Australia, so the novelty of a favourable exchange rate is beckoning me, along with the desire to broaden my horizons. India has always appealed, if you have any recommendations too. Thanks!
