We're going on a short trip to Tangier in August. We've been before, years ago, and are looking for tips on what to do/see.
In particular, I'd love to find a super smart, historic, genteel old hotel where famous people might have stayed before to go and have a drink in when the heat is getting too much.
We'd also like to swim in the sea - I will be with my teenagers but not DH so would love to know any thoughts including whether it's ok to do this from a cultral sensitivity point of view, and if so, is the beach opposite the ferry terminal an ok place to go?
Any other suggestions of things to do/eat/buy VERY welcome!
