Hello! I booked this a looong time ago and the last month, running up to us leaving tomorrow has been a nightmare of unwell parents, broken down cars, power cuts and work issues. In short I will have after 9pm tonight only to pack.
What do I need to remember? I am with DF in hospital all day today and feel a bit addled.

Thanks so much for any help

We will go out to a nice place to eat prob once, lots of outdoor activities and beach time

The temps seem very variable at this time of year - I am thinking I'll need what I'd need for a fortnight in Norfolk maybe?

We stayed in tofino. It was very casual, everyone wandering around in short, wetsuits and flip flops etc. it's a very outdoorsy place so I don't think you'll need a lot of fancy clothes. A nice summer dress or two would be plenty. It also won't necessarily be particularly hot so bear that in mind. We also had some rain.

It is my favourite place I have ever visited - you will have a brilliant time.

Thank you! So a bit like a UK seaside in terms of weather? Thanks
Do I need DEET?

I have been to Vancouver Island years ago. The climate in Tofino is moderated by the Pacific and it rarely gets much above 70 there. In Victoria or inland it can get much warmer and drier. I doubt you need much in the way of fancy clothes.

I'd pack similar to a UK coastal break and you won't go wrong.

My mum grew up on Vancouver Island and loved it - hope you do too!
