Delayed Ryanair bags

With flight chaos today our bags haven't arrived at our destination.
They have taken details but not told us what happens next.
Can anyone share their experience?
I'm hoping they'll have emailed by the time we wake up tomorrow. Am I deluded?

I wouldn't hold my breath. There'll be luggage stuck everywhere. Quite likely it'll take days and even then some bags will have gone astray. Is this an outgoing flight? If so, best to go shopping for a basic wardrobe tomorrow which should be compensated.

Yes outgoing flight 😭.
Sun cream, swim stuff, hiking boots in checked luggage. Argh!

Oh no! Where have you flown from/to? Is it just you and your partner or children to worry about too?

Check your insurance and replace the essentials it could be a few days

So essentials - change of clothes, toiletries.
Does it go as far as raincoat? We're in the mountains.

Sorry one more question - in terms of communication, will the destination airport (small, thankfully I think) use the contact details I wrote down, or do I need to be hassling them?
