Me and my best friend, just want to be near a beach and sunshine for four days in October.

budget?

Southern Spain is usually nice in October. I went to Seville and Granada and it was baking. No beach, but you could pick somewhere on the coast.

Budget around £500 each but less would be better

Early Oct or late Oct?

For 4 days you don't want too long a flight so would probably recommend Spain (Alicante/Malaga probably) or Balearics

I've been to Lisbon, Granada and Seville in October/November and had lovely warm weather. Not too hot to walk around but warm enough for lying on the beach most days

We have been to Maspalomas in Gran Canaria a couple of times in October and it's lovely. Weather is great but the pool took your breath away for a second, you soon get used to it though!

frecklejuice · 19/07/2024 16:07

Missed the 4 day part so Gran Canaria might be a bit too far.

MinnieMountain · 19/07/2024 16:12

Pompei was warm when we went in late October, so the coast around there maybe?

Doggymummar · 19/07/2024 16:13

Rhodes will be lovely

Calahonda, near Malaga. Cheap, fab beaches short flight from UK. Loads of apartments on Air bnb then eat out.

quickoffthemark · 19/07/2024 16:40

Madrid?

JLT24 · 19/07/2024 16:43

Ibiza or Majorca

Short flights

Beautiful beaches

Lovely main towns (Ibiza Old Town or Palma)

Decent weather and most places still open until around 20th

A lot quieter and more chilled and ALOT cheaper than peak season (June-Sep)
