Butlins or Heavens. Please help

Hello everyone. Seeking for some advice here hope that's okay. I'm planning an last minute emergency holiday break for me and kids. We suppose to fly to Marrakech on Sunday but my ADHD brain messed up our plans. Last night I realised that my son's passport expired in February. I remembered even a correct day but wrong year. Typical. Anyway so I'm trying to organise something for us in UK. I was checking Butlins resort and Heavens parks. Can someone advise me which is better to choose. I'm not fussy with accomodation standards but I really want us to enjoy the time, so included in the price attraction is a deal-breaker. Because of this situation we are in low budget as I'm not gonna have any money back from the holidays I already paid. I will be very grateful for any advice from you guys. Many thanks

How many old are your children?
Butlins is better in terms or entertainment/shows. They have a funfair and huge pool which are in with the price.
You can pay extra for crazy golf, bike hire, laser tag etc.
Go for the best accommodation you can afford. Preferably Gold or above!
We've had some great holidays.

Haven sites are usually smaller caravan parks. Most have pools and some evening entertainment. They are often next to some lovely beaches. It's more of a quieter vibe than butlins. Not as much going on so it depends what you want.

My daughter is 17 and my little one is 8. Looks like Butlins is better choice for us. I'm not sure also shall I go get food drinks packages. I'm happy to make a breakfast myself and we can always get out to get some dinner out of the resort. I know I sounds cheap but it's really on the budget holidays as I lost all the money for Morocco 😭 if we won't go for drinks package are we allowed to have our own drinks with us on the pool? I'm not sure if you can take your own food/drinks to the pool.
The premium dining package is great as it includes breakfast and dinner. It's more expensive though.
There is a big Morrisons virtually next to Butlins minehead. Great if you're doing your own food. Most accommodation has cooking facilities. There's a chip shop, pub and Italian also on the site. Lots of places to buy snacks etc.

Go to Butlins! It is great! World class shows, great pool, free fairground. Go round all day. I wouldn't bother with a food package. Do breakfast in your apartment and then you can eat out on resort or in the town. Minehead is lovely. Skegness has a great restaurant - The Windmill at Burgh le Marsh. Not been to Bognor to know what is good. Haven is smaller and youha e to pay for everything except the pool which is also smaller. You can have a good time at both. Hope you have a good holiday.
